“Myths are public dreams. Dreams are private myths. By finding your own dream, and following it through, it will lead you to the myth world in which you live.” –Joseph Campbell

Personal Mythology
Realized or not, conscious or not, we are all on a quest of tSelf Discovery. From the individual’s point of view, the Self is the point where everything that it is not intersects. From that subjective perspective, the Self is the center of the world. If the world is “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing,” it is because the collective is incapable of becoming Self-aware. The world is made meaningful through a profound respect for the central point of it all, which is the Self’s dedication to waking consciousness.
The I Ching says, “Everything objective and external without exception is inferior to the superior man.”
Charan Singh said, “Self-realization is essential before God-realization.”
Joseph Campbell said, “God is an intelligible sphere, whose center is everywhere, and circumference is nowhere.”
An individual astrological chart is a symbolic representation of an “intelligible sphere,” a matrix of intelligent design.
The Webster’s Dictionary defines matrix as, “[L, womb…] 1: something within which something else originates or develops”.
The Zodiac represents the universal matrix/womb out of which consciousness originates or develops.
Mythologically, humanity has deified that cosmic matrix by naming it Maya, Holy Ghost, the lap of Isis, Gaia and White Buffalo Calf Woman – to name a few. Whatever the name for this mythological great mother, the divine child born of her womb is the waking consciousness of human beings, the darlings of the universe, the only offspring of Heaven and Earth capable of Self-realization.
Family and Group Dynamics
A wise man said, “Know where you’re going and who’s going with you. If you get that reversed or confused, you’re in trouble.” All relationships are made in heaven, but not all agendas are the same.
The optimum condition for Self-realization is in cohesive units of ten to fifty individuals. The essential ingredient for a cohesive unit is having a common goal or project. This also applies to one-to-one relationships.
A combination of multiple individual charts can be useful in determining the compatibility, of an individual’s agenda, with a group’s purpose and/or functionality.
A combined chart represents the local environment where the stresses and strains of communal living stimulate the conditions necessary for waking consciousness and Self-realization.
An individual’s dedication to Self-realization will open doors that weren’t there before. A group of individuals dedicated to a common goal or greater good can create worlds that weren’t there before.
We are human beings, the darlings of the universe,
rich with the blessings of the ages and
Self-realization is our birth-right.
